Batplane VI

The mid-1980's introduced a new Batplane that, unlike several of the immediately preceding versions, was not based on any real aircraft.

From Detective Comics No. 493, August 1980. Although the basic design is very similar to Batplane IV, the F-101 Voodoo based version, this Batplane is much smaller. As jet aircraft go, it's practically tiny. It might provide transportation for Batman, but it's not going to make an impression.
From Batman No. 365, November 1983.
Also from Batman No. 365.
