Issue #16

August 1990

Ultimate Paranoia: Prohaska kills a Soviet spy and then finds out that the whole thing was a set up, the Soviets were supposed to get the plans to the planes because they are all defective and dead ends. The UFO returns and slags all the experimental planes. The Blackhawks return to Blackhawk Island. Prohaska breaks the team's ties to the CIA and the Blackhawks are free agents again.

This is the last issue of the series. Frankly, I'm not surprised. The stories and characters never really worked. There was too much anti-hero and not enough hero. All the paranoia and conspiracy theory may have appealed to some, but obviously not enough to sustain the title.
