Issue No. 82

November 1954

Malenkov's Merchant of Murder: On the border between Iran and the Soviet Union, the Blackhawks battle the clever schemes of master Red agent Sabo Teur (they must have been getting desperate for names).

Chop-Chop: A crook drops stolen money in Chop-Chop's shopping cart. Confusion ensues.

Red China Hatchet Man!: Brutal communist killer Klang actually uses hatchets to dispose of those who oppose him. The Blackhawks use a series of clever tricks to discredit Klang, until he loses enough face that the people rise against him.

Twenty Four Hours to Doom: Peaceful Voltania has been taken over by a madman who is building a cobalt bomb. Even the Blackhawks' jets can't get through his defenses, so they built large kites which appear nonthreating to cross the border. They fight their way into the plant and Blackhawk stops Marshal Karco just before he sets off the bomb. When Karco's men hear him raving about his plan to demolish the entire world they turn on him.
