October 1963 The Super Cavemen of 15,000 BC: The Blackhawks get into the middle of a fight between time traveling bandits and cops from 2048. Quig has stolen plans for powerful weapons which he plans to take into the past and make himself ruler of the world. The team takes the injured cop's time belt and chase the crooks across time. They recover another belt and split up. In 15,000 BC one team finds cavemen using advanced technology. In Rome, Chuck, Hendy and Olaf are put in the arena with the time bandits to fight gladiators, they escape to twelve hours in the future, but their time belt is destroyed by the fleeing crooks and they are stranded. Back in 15,000 BC, the Blackhawks win over the cavemen but are in danger from the bandits who have come back to recover their hardware from the cavemen. Chuck and crew show up just in time to save them, using a belt they found in the cache of equipment in Rome. The first book length story, or as the cover says, a "3-part novel." Except for the too easy solution to getting Chuck's party back from Rome, a pretty good story, too.
