Detached Service Diary - The Little War!: Blackhawk is asked by Allied Command to escort an American reporter, Virginia Mueller, who is against America entering the war. After a dog fight and coming face to face with a Nazi, she is convinced otherwise. (illustrated by Doug Wildey)

Detached Service Diary - The Finer Things: Andre "steals" French jewels to keep the Germans from getting them. He discovers a Frenchman working with the German general to steal jewelry and keep it for themselves (instead of sending it to Berlin). He tricks the collaborator into thinking the general has betrayed him. When the collaborator goes to the general, the Gestapo eliminates both of them, ironic justice. (illustrated by Richard Howell and Frank Giacoia)

A Blackhawk Christmas Tale: A poem by Evanier and illustrated with panels by Spiegle, has Olaf save a Jewish family from Nazis and learns a little about Chanukah.
