Military Comics Issue No. 28

April 1944

Dungeon of Doom - While on a bombing mission over Kobe, Blackhawk is shot down. He's captured and thrown into a dungeon to be "softened up" before questioning. Days pass without food or water, then Blackhawk is tortured and returned to his cell. He befriends a neighboring cellmate and the two eventually escape. The old man is shot down and Blackhawk vows to avenge him.
