Military Comics Issue No. 43

October 1945

Island By Island - Three small, fortified Japanese islands stand in the way of an Allied advance. Blackhawk and the team plan on attacking the farthest island first, then working backward while Allies Command starts its invasion. The Hawks commandeer a Japanese aircraft carrier on its way to the third, the Hawk's first, island. Once in command, the Hawks release all the POWs to create a small army in overcoming each subsequent island base.
