Sweden

David Haglund reports the following: "In 1957, Blackhawk received his own book in Sweden entitled Höken. The book also featured Uncas, Rex, Patrull K and Jesse James by Frank Frazetta. The book lasted for a measly two years, but managed to come out with 91 issues in that time. It was probably published as good as weekly, with a page count varying from 24 to 28 pages. From 1958-63, Blackhawk ran in the anthology title Serie-Nytt. Then, in 1964, Blackhawk recieved his own title again, Höken. One of the backup titles was another wartime flyer, Enemy Ace by Joe Kubert. This 52-page book was published bi-monthly until its cancellation. After that, the Blackhawks were confined to an occasional cameo in other comics. In 1989, the new Swedish anthology Thriller published Chaykin's Blackhawk miniseries. Other comics featured in this book were The Question, V For Vendetta, and Nathaniel Dusk."
