"El Halcón Negro" Nº16, published in Mexico by Editora de Periódicos "La Prensa". I cannot supply the date, since the comic book is bound with others, and the inner cover is pasted to cardboard, ergo impossible to read      The cover story, "La Rueda Destructora" ("Wheel of Destruction"), which opens the book, tells about an immense iron monstruosity in the shape of a spiked wheel, which is used as an intimidatory weapon by some dictator, against a defenseless democratic nation. (Where is the NATO, by Jove? Luckily the brave Hawkmen are ready to come in gallant aid!     ) In ten masterfully-rendered, excellently-scripted pages, the story is a "must" for the joy of any average reader. Then, as comic relief, our dear Chop-Chop makes a moonrocket (or something of the sort), arousing more trouble than cosmic dust. An untitled yarn follows: in it, the Hawkmen are sollicited again to fight a huge Flying Fire Dragon for the sake of another "defenseless democratic nation" (sounds familiar?). For a closing, the blue-garbed Air Aces infiltrate (in disguise) a sinister organization in which the most hideous methods for terrorism against Defenseless Democratic Nations are viciously taught     , "La Escuela de Sabotaje" ("School for Sabotage"). A complete delight!

Editor's Note: compare to Blackhawk #56.
