Another Fine War: Mike Grell (script), Rich Burchett (pencils), Pablo Marcos (inks), Steve Haynie (letters), Tom Ziuko (colors), Mike Gold (editor).

In Singapore, 1947, Janos Prohaska owes money to unpleasant types. A beautiful blonde offers him a job. They fly to Burma in search of a large amount of gold, where they are taken prisoner by Sheah Chun Ryan, a beautiful red-haired smuggler. There's lots of dealing and double-dealing. Prohaska ends up in bed with Ryan. The blonde turns out to be a nun trying to recover stolen religious artifacts. Blackhawk and the nun take off in his trimotor with the artifacts. The Red Dragon gives chase with two Zeros and a P-40 Warhawk. Andre and Chuck show up in two Skyrockets just in time to save Blackhawk's bacon. Ryan bails out before her plane crashes and the good guys go home. A good story, though a little slow in the middle. Unfortunately, it tarnishes Blackhawk's character even further by making him more of a leacherous drunk than Chaykin did.
