Battle of the Sky Tanks - A civil war in southeast Asia brings the mysterious 'Emissary X' to the rebel leader, Ho-Lin. X arms the rebels with flying tanks that resist government troops as they march on to the country's capital. The Hawks are sent a radio message concerning Emissary X and they join in the battle. They discover, too late, Ho-Lin has agreed to become a presidential pawn through which X's leaders will control.

The Man Who Owned Blackhawk Island - After Edgar Jurgen, wealthy industrialist, believes he's been accosted by Blackhawk, he purchases Blackhawk Island from the native ruler whose territory includes Hawks' island. Jurgen kicks the Hawks off 'his' island and they must build temporary quarters elsewhere. In the meantime, Jurgen has been made captive by his own crew who want to use the island as a base from which they can raid freighters and liners.

The Lost Tribe of Ormolu - While searching for a vanished aircraft and crew in the south seas, the Hawks become prisoners of an island tribe who want to destroy modern machinery. Blackhawk discovers Endicore, once a famed inventor, is now the leader of the Hawks soon-to-be executioners. Endicore's daughter offers to help the Hawks escape only if they, in return, agree to help her father.

Assination in Argo - The Hawks visit Argo City, the site of a new International Exposition, which includes a long list of top scientific and governmental heads. After calming Chop-Chop's woes about possible assassinations, the Hawks' discover a gang who, after kidnapping Dr. Trojan, are about to attempt mass assassinations.
