Issue No. 95

December 1955

Madam Fury Queen of the Pirates: Beautiful Red agent Madam Fury's armed junks are wreaking havoc on allied shipping in the China Sea. The Blackhawks disquise themselves as Chinese pirates (not very convincingly) to mingle with the pirate fleet. Madam Fury sees through the disquise and captures them. She likes their junk which is equipped with the latest arms, takes it for her flagship and makes the team walk the plank. All seems lost as they sink beneath the waves, but they have built an access into the bottom of the junk. They reappear and win the day with flying fists.

Chop-Chop: Chop-Chop mistakes a ventriloquist's dummy for a midget murder victim and disposes of the "body." He then must take the dummy's place in the ventriloquist's act.

Terra, the Trapper: Beautiful Red agent Terra lays traps for the Black Knights.

Lhala, Tigress of the Desert: Beautiful Red agent Lhala (another theme issue) disquises her men as Tuareg tribesmen to cause discord in the country of Saharasan. The Blackhawks are captured and left in a cell with a ticking bomb nearby. Of course they escape and find a large plane easily capable of taking them to stop Lhala's attempt to destroy the oil fields. When Lhala sees the plane explode in midair she gloats that her plan to get rid of the Blackhawks has succeeded, but no, the team saw through her trap and sail up on a land ship cobbled together from parts found in the hangar. The usual fisticuffs ensue and the bad guys are defeated.
