Issue No. 176

September 1962

The Day I Saved the Blackhawks, by Blackie: Like this is something new, Blackie is always saving their bacon. This time he does it by making a rope out of vines and dropping it to the Blackhawks, dropping a bee hive on the crooks, tricking two enemy eagles into colliding with themselves, and finally, snagging a grenade out of mid-air and dropping it on the bad guys!

The Menace of the Hex Master: A dishonest trader uses a hex decorated costume and delusion inducing native potions to frighten superstitious natives away from a fortune in diamonds.

The Stone Age Blackhawks: Blackhawk, Andre and Hendy are transported into the distant past by a criminal scientist's time machine, where they save cavemen from a large beast. Meanwhile, in the present, the rest of the team must track down the scientist and capture a working time machine to retrieve their comrades.
