The Invisible Dr. Dumar: A lab accident turns a scientist invisible. He travels with the Blackhawks to Blackhawk Island where he gradually goes mad. He uses the War Wheel to attack the team (and crushes the C-119). They trick him into a rainbow beam that returns him to normal.

The Count of Death Valley: Count Steele lures the Black Knights into his elaborately booby trapped mansion, but it's all a hoax. He doesn't really want them dead but alive to testify to the destruction of his looted art treasures, which are really just copies.

The Giant Who Slept 1,000 Years: A giant awakes from a magical spell and threatens an Alpine village. The Blackhawks capture him and find he is the inspiration for the Jack and the Beanstalk story. The giant dies of a plague with no action required by the Blackhawks. One of their sillier stories.
