Feb.-Mar. 1968

The Killer That Time Forgot!: In a sleepy village in the Alps, a gang of crooks disguised as the Blackhawks in their original uniforms tries to steal a valuable jeweled sword. Unknown to them, a Nazi super soldier called the Iron Hammer has just thawed out of a glacier where he was left frozen by the Blackhawks in WW II. Of course, he thinks the crooks are the real Blackhawks and is happy to take his revenge on them. In a string of individual combats, the Iron Hammer seems to kill the Blackhawks off one by one. But on the final page, the Blackhawks reappear in their original uniforms. The villain thinks they are ghosts and kills himself. Oddly, this Nazi villain is equipped with American hand grenades and a Thompson sub-machine gun.

End of the Line!: A non-Blackhawk WW II short story, about a guy who had always prided himself on being first at everything, but in the Army he is always last. Until in combat, he is the first to be taken prisoner. He attacks his captors and overcomes them, saving his buddies who are moving into the town.
