May 1984Killer Shark!: The Black Knights, minus Blackhawk, are prisoners of Killer Shark in La Resistance. Blackhawk escapes from Spain and makes his way to La Resistance, but by then Killer Shark has moved the team to the west. Blackhawk follows and finds them on a U-Boat in the Channel. Blackhawk and Killer Shark fight. With help from a British amphibian squadron, Blackhawk captures the U-Boat and rescues his men, but Killer Shark escapes. I was disappointed that Evanier didn't do more with a good villain like Killer Shark. (coloring by Jerry Serpe)
Detached Service Diary: Stan on watch on Blackhawk Island finds a German pilot who has planted a bomb. He finds the bomb and just in time, tosses it into the B.f.-109's wheel well just as it takes off, blowing it up. Story told entirely with art, no dialogue.
