Air Warrior Blackhawk P-38s

James Lagner writes: "I play a WW2 online flight simulation game called Air Warrior. The art work used on the planes is customizable. Of course a Skyrocket is not included, but I used the next best thing and came up with a Blackhawk version of a P38 Lightning." Jim recently informed me that Air Warrior is going out of business, but I his creation is still a Blackhawk item so I plan to leave it posted.

James also sent me this picture of the AT-9 "Jeep", a WW II multi-engine trainer built by Curtis. He suggested that it bears a resemblance to the Grumman Skyrocket. I agree and think it looks very much like the Skyrocket as it was modified with a conventional tail by Chuck Cuidera in the second issue of Military comics.
