Rocket Pack

This view shows the back of the rocket pack. Although partially covered by foam padding, the wood crosspiece that is the main structural member of the pack can be seen. The wood back brace extends down between the 'rocket engines' and ends in a ringbolt that connects to the steel rod bracket that is held in place by the waist belt. The harness is two-inch cotton webbing with plastic buckles. The buckle of the waist belt is painted silver since it is seen when the rocket pack is worn. The top buckle was left its natural color since it is covered by the speed control.
